Hey guys what about Grenz book:
Welcoming But Not Affirming: An Evangelical Response to Homosexuality
Author: Stanley J. Grenz
Hi have it on order - have not read it yet - but I trust Grenz on many things.
Sean (currently Jhb soon to be Tribeca)
Peter Rollins, How (not) to speak of God ... it's quite the best book out there in emergent convo.
The Bible will be your best source about this subject. For those who don't know, homosexuality is sin. Unless the person turns to God, repents and renounces the homo/leb lifestyle, that person will undoubtedly be outside of salvation according to God's Word. If you are bound by this filth and desire to be free, please visit http://masteringlife.gospelcom.net/page.php?load=resource
The Bible - really?! No one would have ever thought of it... JUST KIDDING! But the conversation seems to be about different interpretations of Scripture on the subject..
How about Stealing Jesus by Bruce Bawer? a book one might consider checking out...for a different Christian perspective. It was also written almost 10 years ago...clearly ahead of its time.
I'm very sorry to have missed this meeting (as well as all the others). I have class on Tuesday nights. :-(
